In eastern Oregon, scientists had a unique idea; instead of using expensive machines to restore damaged streams for salmon and steelhead, they should enlist beavers to do it! This update revisits the Bridge Creek Project, which Field Guide filmed in 2009, for an update on how this project reshaped our understanding of the role of beavers in the landscape.
